Máirt – Foclóir agus Labhairt
Tuesday’s Cleachtadh an Lae explored the word comhairle (advice), with a rich set of phrases like comhairle a thabhairt do dhuine (to give someone advice) and dul i gcomhairle le duine (to consult someone).

How does Tinteán work?
Your home is the Aistear learning platform, where all our courses and resources live. There, you’ll be able to click through to Bitesize Pobal, our learners’ community. On Bitesize Pobal, you’ll find the latest hand-crafted practice prompts called Cleachtadh an Lae, Monday to Friday. Each week, you’ll receive an email with the latest members news and highlights.
What’s included in Tinteán?

- Light feedback as required on the community topic by our community manager

What if I’m still learning Irish?
Come on in. You can go deep into learning with the optional and exclusive course Tús Maith. Indeed, you’re free to continue in solo-mode as your start, and popping into the community to see daily practice prompts. Over time, you can then start to take more active part in responding to Cleachtadh an Lae.
What are the payment options?
Our secure checkout supports credit card and PayPal subscriptions. You’ll receive an invoice by email for each payment. If you’re enjoying Tinteán, you may upgrade to annual payments, saving two months per year.
How do I cancel?
Simple. Contact us, or better yet cancel directly any time in your Aistear account. When you cancel, you’ll have access to Tinteán until the end of your billing period.
How does Tinteán differ to An Ciorcal Beo?
Tinteán is for using Irish, and An Ciorcal Beo invites depth. Whilst Tinteán has light-touch team support, An Ciorcal Beo members receive personal feedback and structured practice including a monthly workshop and live sessions. An Ciorcal Beo is not suitable for everyone, and Tinteán is the more affordable option. You can always switch to An Ciorcal Beo later.
What are the T&Cs?

Membership is for adults only (18+). This is not due to any explicit content, but rather the community being a space for adult learners. Community content and courses are not designed for children.
