Seacht mBealach / Seven Ways Book

It is so inspirational. I continually go back to it . I was particularly struck by the note, “What unfinished business is being worked out through your language journey ?” It is finding my mother tongue . “Tá bri le d’aistear Gaeilge”

I love being able to play the reading over and over to hear the pronunciation, and I can mark the text with my own pronunciation guide –maybe a little different since I’m a language geek.

I can bring it with me where ever I go.

I love the flow of the book, the easy reading and interactivity! A great present from my wife.

You have come up with what I believe may be a unique method of teaching. Irish is not an easy language to learn but with daily practice, retention of vocabulary is possible and is made easier.

I love listening having an intention each day to guide how I relate to and play with the language. One of the ways this comes through beautifully in the book is the hints of philosophy and world view that come through in Eoin’s writing. It’s made a profound difference in my excitement to learn the language, and to “try on” the way in which it shifts how I experience the world (and my own perceptions) through that different, Gaeilge, consciousness.

Is breá liom an leabhar seo! I was pleasantly surprised by how kind and affirming this book is towards the struggle of learning Irish. I get down on myself all the time that I’m not doing enough, not working hard enough. But when I pick up Seacht mBealach I feel positive and encouraged. Go raibh míle míle maith agat!

I love the the range of ideas to improve my learning of Gaeilge.

I was already doing Gaeilge Gach Lá but I’m enjoying this book and its subtle reminders to go beyond words for the soul of An Teanga. And I really appreciate the chance to listen along with the words and pronunciation revealed to me through the QR codes.
