This week on Bitesize Pobal, we followed our Gaeilge Gach Lá rhythm with a short Cleachtadh an Lae each day.

Luan – Scríbhneoireacht
The writing prompt asked whether you’re afraid of the dentist: An bhfuil eagla ort roimh an bhfiaclóir?

Máirt – Foclóir agus Labhairt
Tuesday’s Cleachtadh an Lae explored the word caidreamh (relationship, intimacy, association), including how to use it with idir (between) and its plural prepositional pronoun forms.

Céadaoin – Léitheoireacht
This week’s reading was a short piece about the history and fame of geansaithe Árainn (Aran jumpers) and the story behind their traditional stitches.

Déardaoin – Éisteacht
Thursday’s listening featured a sample of Donegal Irish from Molscéal, with a focus on the Ulster word fá choinne (for).

Aoine – Nuacht
We finished the week with a news piece about water quality at Gaeltacht beaches, reporting that almost all tested locations achieved excellent standards in 2025.
