If we were to take a look at the United States’ history we would find many Irish people who settled there driven by necessity or high hopes and dreams. They became hard working individuals who soon were seen as established US citizens.
Mary Murphy went to the US when she was a little girl. Along her parents and her 5 brothers and sisters, Mary soon found what being an Irish person in New York felt like. This is the seventh episode of the Bitesize Irish Gaelic podcast where Mary and Eoin talk about what it feels like for the Irish people to grow up in the US, about Mary’s singing & writing career, and how travelling to Ireland helped put her life in perspective.
Re-run of the 7th Bitesize Irish Gaelic podcast in the English language.
