Action informs identity, and identity informs action. We can take action even if we don’t know how to get “there” ultimately. For the Irish language, we can act as if we understand, by listening. Act as if we speak, by participating in conversation. Act as if we are practitioners, by making it part of everyday life. What does “acting as if” mean for you in your life, for learning Gaeilge?
