Hi, I have a direct bloodline to at least 1780 in Co Wexford, we came to england in 1869 and still have the surname, I thought ‘its time to learn ‘Irish”, I can at least greet you in French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese and Welsh, now I find that I cant even say hello in Irish, can I be helped ? Hi its Pat Agnew in Invercargill New Zealand here I have no one to practice with but I just need to get brave and do it any way. My father is from Belfast but did not speak it so I feel I should learn this.
