  1. Fin’s background in archaeology and history is very impressive. I was fascinated by this glimpse into Irish history from an interview instead of a book. Eoin, you always know what to ask your guests! I had missed the last few episodes and am now caught up. I would leave a 5-star review, but find i-tunes challenging to navigate. You are 10-star in my book. I like to listen to the podcasts over again because I always find more information than I can absorb in one listen. Thanks for your good work Eoin! I hope Fin will be back. If it’s not too “modern”, I would love to hear about Brian Boru and the unification of many of the kingdoms.
    Go raibh mile maith agat!

  2. I very much enjoyed this podcast, and I’d be interested in hearing more about even earlier Irish history. I’ve lately been reading the many Sister Fidelma mysteries of Peter Tremayne (the pseudonym of Irish history and Old Irish language scholar, Peter Ellis) set in 666 AD. They describe an Irish society governed by the Brehon laws that seems much more fair and just than what Ireland degenerated into after the conquest of the English and the subsumation of the Celtic Christian church by the Roman Christians. Please…MORE information.

    GRMA!

  3. I really enjoyed this episode. I’ve been listening to Finn Dywer’s podcast for a few years now. It’s great to hear podcast collaboration.
