Through the years, Ireland has been known for its emigration. What is the situation now? Our thanks go to Wedding Band Shop for the infographic and their great Irish rings.

Of course, we’ve all heard of the Gathering, but have you heard of the opposite which the Irish wags are calling the “Scattering?” Guess many in Ireland feel that emigration is gaining popularity after the Celtic Tiger lost a bit of its bite.

  2. It is true that people have to go where the money is. All of the countries
are having their issues political and monetary. We just have to find a place
with the least of these burdens. The best of all places is Sweden, but they
are not allowing people to move there. I am sure if the U.S. took a pole, they would also find that many Americans have moved to places like Canada,
Brazil and, Philippines etc. No matter where you go, there will be issues.
Maybe not the same, but issues. My family tree is Norway, then settled in England, then Ireland then traveled to the U.S. The other side of the family was Germany , Ireland and then the U.S. Just thought I would share 🙂
