Dia duit!
Ashley here. I just wanted to thank you for all the fun emails and little sayings. I work for a company comprised of four store locations scattered across four towns. We have a shared chat room that we all use to keep in touch about daily operations. I can not tell you how much joy it brings me to type Irish greetings to them in this chat room and watch as they try to comprehend the words. Needless to say, “Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig ort,” was one phrase to go down in the books. The failed pronunciations had me in stitches and tears. A great time was had by all and everyone got a little Irish exposure along the way.
With all my warmest wishes,
-Ashley
P.S. Your podcast and YouTube videos are a little saving grace for me. I love hearing these phrases on the regular and relish the exposure to the language I’m determined to learn. I have yet to sign up for your courses as I’m waiting for some more time to free up in schedule, but I am so looking forward to the day when I throw caution to the wind and go for it.
Hi Ashely, go raibh míle maith agat! I love hearing that, your optimistic and fun approach to learning the Irish language. You’re doing it right!

Lovely to hear from you Elisabeth. I agree, keep digging, keep pushing your current abilities in the Irish language. It really is the journey that counts, not a goal of fluency.
P.S. I have gone through Graz a few times, as my wife is from Marbourg/Maribor across the Slovenian border.
Dear Gabriele & team,
Thank you for all the lessons- I love them all and enjoy showing off with TINY bits of Gaelic.. I try very hard to learn how to pronounce common words which is a real challenge!!!!!
Auf Wiedersehen
