5 Year Bitesize Birthday!

This week, I must say we’re feeling old! Or is “mature” the term?

Bitesize Irish Gaelic has now been teaching you Irish Gaelic for FIVE YEARS!

And read further below on how you can take advantage of this celebration with a Birthday Sale of our main Bitesize Irish Gaelic program.

Join in the Awkward Singing

Let’s sing the song to Bitey, our munchy shamrock:

Lá breithe shona duit,
Lá breithe shona duit,
Lá breithe shona duit, a Bhitey,
Lá breithe shona duit.

Before “Zero” until Year 5

Bitesize Irish Gaelic had been brewing in summer 2009. But it wasn’t until 2010 when we hit the “live” button on the learning program to help you make a real connection with your Irish heritage.

The program launched with just a handful of Bitesize online lessons for Irish Gaelic. (Now our members have access to 170+).

In 2011, this blog was launched to keep you informed and motivated.

In 2013, our popular free Bitesize Irish Gaelic Podcast launched. (It’s a discussion show in English, so you just listen along.)

In early 2015, we launched “Project Chunkify”, the biggest upgrade to our Bitesize Irish Gaelic pogram. The online program is now broken down into weeks and levels.

Through that journey, we’ve happily spent time with you, our Bitesize community. It’s been a pleasure to be part of your lives, if only just a little bit. It really is a life-long journey that people are one to make a real connection with their Irish heritage.

Kind Wishes From Our Friends

Here’s to the next 5 years, and many more! Fad saol agat. “Long life to you”

Bitesize Irish five years long
Keeping Irish alive and strong
Many thanks from all of us
Without you, we would be quite lost

In my hand a glass held high
You are terrific-I tell no lie
As the clock does forward tic
Good health, good luck in number six
