An Irish-Brooklynite’s Irish Language Journey – Interview with Cathy

Niall chats to Explore member, Cathy, about her Irish language journey. She shares her childhood memories of growing up in Brooklyn in an Irish family, how she came to start learning Irish and how she’s been finding it overall.

When asked about her tips for improving, Cathy quoted her fellow Explore member, Kevin:

‘Don’t think about what you don’t know, think about where you were a month ago’

Simple and solid advice for those feeling like they aren’t progressing as fast as they want to.

Thanks for chatting to us Cathy and keep up the good work – lean ort!
